I cropped out my location, but I will say I'm in eastern Texas. It's 1:20pm and this is my summer weather:

Rain is suppose to be coming this weekend for us too. :/ looks pretty hot for New York tho, this is normal for Texas... 70 sounds really nice wish the nights would get down to that... But at this point last night was 94, felt like 97... At like midnight. Lol

It's like 8pm where I am now, and now the temperature is 86 degrees F, though it feels like 95. I guess at least New York nights are cooler than in Texas. lol. Though honestly, the weather where I am has gotten pretty crazy these past few years. This summer specifically, there was supposedly some kind of heat wave thing going on. But I remember a few years ago, the summer would be pretty hot, but not insanely hot. And the fall would be cool weather, and winter would be cold with snow. And spring would be nice weather too. But now? The heat stays well into late December, some days it might be cold, but others kinda warm. Because the weather flips from being cold to warm so fast, I often get sick in the winters. In January is when the winter really kicks in. It starts being cold. And then it stays that way until early April, often snowing in late March. Sometimes I feel bad for the trees and plants, because there is randomly a really warm few days, and the plants start blooming and sprouting, and the next day it snows. And the plants die and the tree's flowers die. Late April is when the weather gets super warm all of a sudden. Then the trees start blooming again. Which is nice, because it's Cherry Blossom season, and my friends and I go visit the local Botanical Garden for the Sakura Matsuri event. Plus, my birthday's around then. So I like seeing the flowers blooming, I almost consider it a birthday present from nature. lolll And then from Late April onward, the weather only gets hotter and hotter. And this repeats the next year. loll I remember one time I was walking down the street and I overheard this guy talking on the phone to someone about his girlfriend or something, and he was saying how erratic the girl was by comparing her to the recent weather. I thought that was pretty funny.

I keep saying I feel like the seasons are shifting, or like our calendar isn't quite as accurate anymore. I can say it starts "cooling down" around October-November. But when I say "cool down" I mean it's in the 80s most of the time with random three day periods where the temperature drops to like 60 as a high and 35 as a low. I agree that cold doesn't really start until around January for us. January, Febuary, and early March are the coldest months. But I have been through Christmas days wearing shorts and a T-shirt (including this past Christmas, if I remember correctly). That's pretty epic that you get flowers for your birthday. I don't think we have Cherry Blossoms down here. Instead our state is covered in Blue bonnets. The mostly grow in rural areas and along side the freeways (can't really see them when you live in the city) Tonight is saying it's not so hot. But our humidity was 73% like yesterday or 明後日(あさって)... feels like your drowning or something... D: As for erratic weather, that's funny. The most erratic weather I've ever seen was when I first moved to Michigan. It was in the 80s all week (Monday through Friday) that Saturday it snowed a foot... lol My neighbor didn't own a TV and laughed at the weatherman for saying it was going to snow. ^And honestly, I can say I know people who are the same way. lol

It's 台風 season I think so over the next day or so I can expect strong winds and a lot of rain...
Other than that recently the weather has been highs of 28-30 degrees (80-90ish for my fellow Americans) to lows of about 21-23 degrees (70-73ish). It's also really humid here. 79% today I think... Not sure about the average.

Okonomiyakiさん: 良い天気と思います!ここより涼しいですよ。 You're lucky! でも、私達の湿気は同じくらいです。 Leopardさん: It's been rainy around here recently. At least one shower a day! But I am enjoying it because it has cooled the temperatures down a lot! Usually August is our three digit weather month... So having it in the 80- lower 90s is a nice break. I hope it will cool your summer down as well! Katieさん: Your weather looks a lot like the weather here in Texas... We've been getting some friendly day showers and it has helped cool things down!
