Probably gonna steal an examples from my iKnow examples. (They have quite a few examples with 花.)
玄関が花を飾りました。 げんかん が はな を かざりました。 The front entrance was decorated with flowers.
この花はとても美しくて、良い匂いがします。 この はな は とても うつくしくて、 いい におい が します。 These flowers are very beautiful and smell good.
